Commitment Statement *

A servant in the ACAC Worship Ministry humbly uses their gifts (natural and spiritual) to lead the congregation into deeper fellowship, intimacy, and devotion to Christ. As a servant in the Worship Ministry of ACAC, your commitment is to the following:

ACAC’s mission of “Following Jesus in Diverse Community.”

ACAC’s vision to be “a faith community striving to lay aside our differences (John 17) and choosing instead to be unified in One Spirit, One Lord, and One baptism. (Ephesians 4:1-6) . . . being one so the world may know Jesus is the Savior of the world.”

ACAC’s DNA:

The worship ministry’s role to “fill the house with the fragrance of worship to Jesus.”

Deepening your personal relationship with Christ by having regular time in prayer, worship, and Bible study.

Serving up to two (2) weekends per month (perhaps three weekends if a month has five total).

Being prompt to ministry commitments (services, rehearsals, trainings, etc.) and proactive in communicating when attendance is not possible.

Seeking the welfare of the Worship Ministry, its servants, and leaders.

Serving with gladness and rejoicing (Psalm 100:2).

Participating in the ministry for the next calendar year, barring any unforeseen circumstances.

Final Notes

You should expect the application process to take 4-6 weeks. This is to allow for correspondence, schedule coordination (interview), finalized clearances and ministry training.

To begin serving, you must have completed background clearances. This is because Music team members, on occasion, will work in proximity to minors. We'll be in touch with those details.
